Vera Marjorie Knudson Keller Coffey

1922 ~ 2007

Vera Marjorie Knudson Keller Coffey was born August 10, 1922 in Brigham City, Utah to Verabel Call Knudson and Percy Carlyle Knudson. She died August 22, 2007 following a massive stroke. At the time of her passing she was comforted by her beloved family with deep love and tenderness as they bid her farewell on the last of her many great journeys.

On December 25, 1945 Marjorie married her high school sweetheart, Jay Robert Keller. They were blessed with a son, Robert Perc Knudson Keller. In the early 1950's together with her husband and young son the Keller family transplanted to southern California. Marjories always upbeat and positive attitude she quickly developed a reputation for hard work and dependability. UCLA and Media Medicine Production Company benefited from her devoted services. Following the death, at an early age, of her husband, Bob, Marjorie remained in California to be near her son and her grandchildren. On June 6, 1989 Marjorie married Herbert (Bert) Coffey and together they created a legacy of living life to the fullest. Their love for each other and their extended family has been a marvelous blessing. Marjorie will be remembered by all for her abounding energy, gifts of love and finding good in all things.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Coffey; son, Robert Keller M.D. (Suzanne), Steven Coffey (Cheryl); sister, Dorothy Mason (James); brother, Peter C. Knudson D.D.S. (Georgianna); grandchildren, Alysa, Jeena (Ron), Holly (Mike), Ivy, Adam, Kaleb.

Her life sang out in her favorite quote from The Little Prince: "To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world". And to you, our beloved Marjorie, the world was unique because of you.

Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1 Skyline Forest Drive, Monterey, California. The services are scheduled for 12:00 noon Tuesday, August 28, 2007. A viewing is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. preceding the funeral.
