Would the Utah Department of Transportation be so kind as to publicly report the amount of money it spends on its "Know Before You Go" ad campaign? The billboards I've seen imply that if you just check their Web site with all those nifty traffic cameras, you won't be late ever again. I suggest government-spending watchdogs in the Legislature suggest this budget item be diverted to better purposes. The principle of "truth in advertising" is clearly circumvented by this slogan.
