HEBER CITY — A 22-year-old Wasatch County woman was killed Sunday morning when her car collided with the minivan and trailer of a family that was in the process of moving into town, authorities said.
The crash occurred on state Route 189 about two miles south of Heber City.
The Utah Highway Patrol identified the woman killed as Rachel M.B. Hendrickson of Charleston. She had been headed home when the 7:40 a.m. crash occurred, according to UHP trooper Trenton Percy.
Four people in the minivan were either unhurt or suffered only minor injuries.
According to Percy, Hendrickson's Saturn was southbound on S.R. 189, drifted over the center line and collided with the northbound minivan and the trailer it was hauling.
Hendrickson was killed instantly, according to a UHP media release.
