At Colorado Springs, Colo., the Bees hit a pair of home runs and rallied to score five runs in the ninth inning for a come from behind 10-7 win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Sunday afternoon. Salt Lake trailed 6-5 with one out in the ninth when pinch-hitter Tommy Murphy lined a 1-0 pitch from Todd Williams over the right field wall to tie the game. Casey Smith followed with a single and was doubled to third by Nick Gorneault. Mike Eylward was intentionally walked to load the bases and Juan Rivera lifted a fly ball to right that brought home Smith with the go ahead run. Terry Evans provided some insurance with a three run homer to left.
KEY STAT: Half of the Bees' 16 hits were extra-base hits.
