At Idaho Falls, up by only one run in the bottom of the sixth, the Chukars scored five run — aided by three walks, an error and a hit batter — to break the game open.

Jay Brossman was the only Owl with multiple hits as Orem dropped its second straight game and fell to three games behind Idaho Falls.

At Ogden, Kenley Jansen hit a walk-off single with the game tied 4-4 to break the Raptor's three game losing streak. Erik Kanaby led the Ogden offense by going 3-for-4 including a two-run home run in the third inning.

Rodney Brantley pitched 6 2/3 strong innings, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out seven batters.
