To the driver of a small white pickup truck traveling south on I-15 near Exit 110 on Monday afternoon, I just wanted you to know that when the load from your truck bed flew out, hit the pavement and then flew up and shattered my windshield, my passenger and I are OK. The part that hit the windshield was a metal stack filter for a semi truck.

But we are OK.

There is windshield glass in the front area of my SUV and the car had to be towed.

But we are OK.

I am now required to pay the tow truck company, the deductible on my auto insurance for the windshield and labor for installation.

But we are OK.

Shaken, but OK.
