My heart aches for the families of the trapped miners. We pray for them daily. I understand their concern over shutting the mine down, but we also understand the concern for the rescue workers. I feel in my heart the men were caught under the rubble at the beginning as they tried to get out. Their bodies are there, but their spirits are in heaven and at peace. Would it be a possibility for the families to place a headstone at the side of the mountain for each of the six miners and plant some trees, grass and flowers and make it a private cemetery for these special men? This might help bring closure.
