At Idaho Falls, Idaho, neither team could break a 5-5 tie starting from the eighth inning to the bottom of the 15th inning until Anthony Seratelli doubled to send Devery Van De Keere home for the winning run. Jeremy Moore led the Owlz with four RBIs on a 2-for-6 outing. The defense was the key for the Chukars as they had three double plays and played error-free baseball.

At Ogden, the Raptors committed three errors, including two in the fifth inning when the Rockies scored two runs, to hamper their chances of a win at home. Chad Lembeck homered in the fourth inning to give Casper a 2-0 lead. Brandon Miller (2-0) fanned nine Ogden batters in seven innings, while Wilfredo Diaz (2-3) struck out seven batters for the Raptors in four innings.
