Fawn C. Mulvey
1920 ~ 2007
Our Wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Mama Great, 87, passed away August 28, 2007 from causes incident to age.She was born March 25, 1920 in Rupert, Idaho to Peter A. and Bertha Gull Christensen. She married Francis Ira Robert Mulvey July 1, 1950, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death February 13, 1965. Fawn lived in the Layton area for over 40 years and lived in Green River, Wyoming for the past eight years. She was employed at the Navy Base during World War II. She also worked for the Internal Revenue Service. Fawn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many callings. One of her dearest was visiting teaching. Fawn loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. And was happiest when she was doing things with and for them.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include three sons Steven R. Mulvey and wife Teresa, Mark C. Mulvey and wife Jodi and Corey J. Mulvey and wife Teana; one daughter Marlene K. Nelson and husband Greg; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Wendell A. Christensen and two sisters Beth Orton and Carma Lee Christensen.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at 1250 W. Teton Blvd. Green River, WY with a viewing beginning at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Bishop Lewis Will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 at 1 p.m. Arrangements are from the Vase Funeral Home. The family also wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for the wonderful care that she received from the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River.
