Kurtis R. Kennedy

1942 ~ 2007

Our beloved father, husband and friend, Kurtis R. Kennedy, 65 of Placentia, Calif, passed away Sun. August 26, 2007, surrounded by the people who loved him. He battled his illness courageously for the past year.

He was born August 20, 1942 in Richfield, Utah to Nola Robison and Russell Heath Kennedy and was later sealed in the Manti Temple to Nola and Ralph Warenski.

He was married to his wife for 32 years. He loved watching baseball and could always be found listening to a game. As he passed, he was listening to his favorite team, the

Angeles win a game.

He owned and operated a rain gutter business with his son, Albert. He also loved to fish and hunt and was a Navy veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Kennedy; sister, Gwen Warenski Christensen; two granddaughters, Rachel and Billie-Rose Barlow.

He leaves behind his wife Lynne; children, Stephanie (Paul) Fritz, Kelly (Bob) Chapman, Mary (Victor)

Jaeger, Albert (Lisa) Barlow, Tiffany (Drew) Schmelter, Travis (Jennifer) Barlow; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by all.

Graveside services will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Joseph Utah Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to service.
