The Goshute tribe has received a nearly $200,000 federal grant for housing maintenance.

The funding is from the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Indian Housing Block Grant Program, which gives about $624 million in funding to 400 tribal housing entities annually.

"This funding helps tribal communities provide decent, safe, affordable housing for its members," said HUD Secretary Alphonso Jackson in a statement.
