I was disgusted to hear the acts of moral turpitude that Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho is accused of committing at a Minnesota airport. Normally, I might give someone the benefit of a doubt if it was a first allegation, but Sen. Craig seems to have a past history with such behavior. I'd like to see a return to a time when senators, members of the House of Representatives, the president, the vice president, state governors, judges, teachers and members of the Supreme Court lived above reproach. All mortals have failings, but I believe our leaders have an added duty to carry self-imposed standards so high that they wouldn't even be suspected of a whiff of impropriety.
