I've read with great interest all or most of the articles written in the Deseret Morning News about the Crandall Canyon Mine incident. Here, in Ohio, we get "bits and pieces" of your news in our local paper. The cable news channels have done a great job, but now the story is getting old and the media are backing away. The Deseret Morning News, on the Internet, is still giving refreshing, unbiased, informational news. This paper is keeping us informed. Your reporters have diligently and meticulously brought the spirit of those miners to light for us "outsiders." We feel we know these people. And I have gotten involved more than once in your "comment" section on the Web. I did get a good chuckle when one of your readers accused me of working for Bob Murray.
I just want to say "thank you" for the superb coverage you have given us about these modern-day heroes. This is an awful tragedy, but I'm sure you will stay with this story to its conclusion.
