SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — The Syracuse Chiefs couldn't catch a break. They couldn't catch anything, actually. The Toronto Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate made 10 errors, matching the most in the International League in 43 years. No surprise, Syracuse lost to Ottawa 12-10 in 10 innings.

First baseman Chad Mottola made four errors, two on throws. Third baseman John Hattig made three mistakes. Left fielder Adam Lind, center fielder Wayne Lydon and catcher David Corrente each had one error. Despite all the fielding troubles, the 10 errors led to only two unearned runs.
