MEN'S BASKETBALL: The University of Utah has finalized its 2007-08 men's basketball schedule. The Runnin' Utes will host Idaho State and Dixie State College at the Jon M. Huntsman Center this season, giving Utah a total of six home dates, including exhibition contests.
Utah's contest with Idaho State will take place at 7 p.m. on Dec. 27. The Runnin' Utes will face off with Dixie State at 7 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Utah's first exhibition contest is slated for Nov. 1 against Montana Tech. The regular season begins Nov. 9, when the Utes host South Carolina Upstate. Utah men's basketball season tickets go on sale Oct. 1.
Utah Valley
SOCCER: The Utah Valley soccer team will play Southern Utah today at Wolverine Field at 4 p.m.
VOLLEYBALL: Utah Valley competes in Indianapolis today and Saturday in the Butler Invitational. The Wolverines will face Tennessee Tech and Northern Illinois on Friday, then wrap up play against host Butler on Saturday.
Utah State
CROSS COUNTRY: Utah State's men's and women's cross country teams begin their 2007 season by hosting the Utah State Open today at 2 p.m. at the American West Heritage Center. Teams competing will be Idaho, Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley and Weber State.
