Tom was a kind of Prophet, not in the religious sense, but more of a guide. He showed us how to be one with nature, how to enjoy, how to harvest, how to build. He was generous and always had something to give, whether it filled your body or your mind. Being in his presence always made you feel warm. He embraced each moment with an ardent fervor that made you feel that you were meant to be there. His wisdom and humor always made you feel good about yourself. He was a devoted husband, father, and dear friend to us all. His footprints in the wilderness and in our hearts will never be forgotten. May God bless him and he will be dearly missed by us all.
