Karol Yuvonne Nunley
1928 ~ 2008
Karol Nunley our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Jan. 10, 2008, in Peoria, Arizona.She was born in the small town of Rexburg, Idaho on Sept. l, 1928, to loving parents Walter and Emma Vincent. She grew up with one older and two younger sisters. She was married to her eternal sweetheart, Clayton Lorenzo Nunley on June 30, 1946, in Nevada; she cherished 49 years with him. They traveled working side by side owning and operating many restaurants and hotels, and raising their three beautiful children. They finally settled in Scottsdale, AZ, in 1976. He anxiously awaits her hand in heaven where they will be reunited for eternity.
Karol was a beautiful person with amazing strength and a deep love for the Lord and everyone around her. Her faith and spirit would lift your soul and fill your heart with love. Karol had many talents including being a gourmet chef, creating gorgeous floral arrangements and interior decorating.
She will be deeply missed by her three children, Jacqueline Mitchell-Knox, Guy Walter and Debra Burress. Her tender heart and warm embrace will be lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, younger sister Joyce Armstrong and all who knew her.

Viewing for Karol will be held Friday, January 18, 2008, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106, from 7-8 p.m. Funeral services for Karol will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008, at the LDS Church, 2700 W. 13400 S. Riverton, UT 84065, at 12 noon. Karol will be laid to rest at the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery following the services.
