OGDEN — Police are searching for a man suspected in the attempted sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl here.
The incident happened about 2 a.m. Tuesday at a home on the 200 block of 30th Street, police said. Investigators believe a man broke into the home and attempted to assault the girl.
"The father came up when he heard his daughter scream and chased the man out of the house," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Sangberg said Wednesday.
Police are still looking for the man, but Sangberg said it could be someone the family knows who also lives in the neighborhood.
