It's time for the Deseret News annual Christmas writing contest, "Christmas I Remember Best." Christmas is a time to remember and reflect on past holidays. The News is asking its readers to write original stories about their most memorable Christmas.Acceptance of entries began Monday. Four to six stories will be chosen for publication in the newspaper the week prior to Christmas, with the final story appearing on Christmas Day. True-life stories should be original and no more than 800 words in length. The judges prefer stories that cover a wide range of Christmas experiences, including humor.Stories should be written on a computer, typewriter or printed legibly so they can be easily read. The author's name, address, daytime and evening phone numbers and e-mail address, if possible, must be included.Duplicate submissions are not necessary.
