I decided to open my skinny wallet and spend my stimulus money on something I didn't really need in order to help the economy. I went into a clothing store to buy some clothes. I made up my mind that it wouldn't do much good unless I bought something that was made in the United States of America. I spent an hour in the store. I looked at shirts, ties, shoes, trousers, suits, jackets, sweaters and even socks. I didn't find a single article made in the USA. My wife couldn't even find a Christmas card that wasn't made in a non-Christian country. How can we hope to improve our economy if everything we buy is made outside of the country?
