The jury is now deliberating the fate of a man accused of killing his wife.
Sherman Alexander Lynch III is on trial for murder, accused of running down his wife, Patricia Rothmerich, 64, in October 2007. Her body was found along the side of a road in Salt Lake County. Prosecutors said Lynch led a double life that unraveled when a woman who claimed she was his girlfriend came forward.
Defense attorneys have said Lynch didn't kill his wife and had an alibi.
The jury got the case about 6:30 p.m. Court clerks said the jury will deliberate as long as necessary to reach a verdict.
