Discrimination faced by people with disabilities will be the topic of the Dialogue on Discrimination series at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Northwest Middle School, 1730 W. 1700 North.
The free event is being hosted by the Salt Lake City Human Rights Commission. The discussion is the second of five events designed to gather public input on discrimination issues in Salt Lake City to help inform the development of public policy.
Disability advocates Barbara Toomer and Mathew Knotts will begin the dialogue by addressing the impact discrimination has had on members of the disabled community.
Those who are unable to attend the dialogue but would like to share their experiences may visit the city's Web site at slcgov.com and click on the "Tell Us Your Story" link.
