A robber struck a liquor store at 1154 E. Ashton on Halloween morning, police said.
The man knocked on the back door, police said, and grabbed an employee by the hair when she answered the door. He pushed her into the back room where the safe was located. He took the money and fled.
Police said the man is described as being 5-feet 10-inches and about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black nylon mask, tan sweat shirt and black pants. Police believe he might have been driving a white PT Cruiser.
