DUGWAY, Tooele County — Officials at Dugway High School activated their safe school procedures following an undisclosed e-mail threat Thursday.
"We had a threat, we believe we have it resolved," Tooele School District superintendent Terry Linares said Thursday.
Linares would not disclose the content of the e-mail but said the threat was not serious enough to prompt any type of evacuation at the school. Police officers were sent to the school and were investigating throughout the day Thursday. Students were allowed to go home for lunch if they wanted, but were only allowed to enter through the front door.
When asked where the e-mail came from, Linares said, "We believe we've identified it as an inside threat."
A student had been suspended for involvement in the incident, KSL reported.
