Kristin Currey has been appointed director of national account sales at Orange Legal Technologies. Currey has more than 20 years of litigation-support-industry experience. She previously was a national practice director at another company, where she provided automated document review and information risk-management services to Fortune 500 companies and their outside counsel.

James Martinos has been selected president and chief executive officer of DirectPointe Inc. Martinos has served as chief operating officer since joining the company in 2005. Michael Proper, whom Martinos succeeds, will continue serving as co-chairman of the company's board of directors and president and chief executive officer of newly formed CentralPointe Inc.

Ann Thomas has been promoted by Mercer to lead the company's Salt Lake City office, and Jim Payne has been promoted to lead Mercer's Health & Benefits Resource Center in Salt Lake City. Thomas will be responsible for overseeing daily consulting operations activities throughout Utah and provide guidance and strategy to the office team. She has more than 20 years of health-care and management experience. Thomas' education includes degrees from the University of Utah. The center provides health-care consulting support to Mercer's 72 offices nationwide. Payne has been with Mercer for more than 15 years. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Kevin Donovan has been named executive chef at Park City Mountain Resort, which has six restaurants and one coffee shop. He is the former executive chef at another nearby restaurant and executive chief for a restaurant group based in Denver.

David Coats, owner and president of the Air Center of Salt Lake, has been elected the 2009 chairman of the board of directors of the West Jordan Chamber of Commerce. Jan LePore, branch manager for Utah Central Credit Union, was elected to the chair-elect position, and Calvin Hatch, co-owner of the Tsosie & Hatch law firm, has become past chair. Other new board members are Brad Wardle, interim city manager for West Jordan; Jared Hamner, director of admissions for West Ridge Academy; Brian Davis, manager of community relations for Rio Tinto; Kent Hodson, chief executive officer of Credit Union One; and Vinnie Mandurino, restaurant manager for Bajio Mexican Grill.

Howard Hochhauser has been appointed chief financial officer of The Generations Network Inc., parent company of Ancestry.com. Hochhauser will succeed David Rinn, who will lead a newly established Strategy and Corporate Development group. Hochhauser has more than 15 years of media and online content experience. He spent more than eight years at his most recent company, including serving as CFO since July 2006. He previously was in the equity research department of another company. Rinn has been CFO for the past four years and managed the accounting, financial reporting, human resources and legal functions. Prior to his work at TGN, Rinn spent 11 years at another company in a variety of roles. Earlier in his career, Rinn worked in the investment-banking division of another company.

Doug Lund, capital projects associate director at Utah's Hogle Zoo, recently was named assistant director of administration and finance. Lund replaces former assistant director Jerry Good, who retired after 39 years at the zoo. Lund will be responsible for supervising finance, guest services, retail and concessions, marketing, information technology and security. Lund started as a ticket-taker at Hogle Zoo in 1974 and has been involved in nearly every construction project for zoo improvements.

Brooke Lange has been appointed to the newly created position of university outreach at Argosy University. Lange's primary responsibility is to build relationships and partnerships with the business community, educators, potential students and potential employers for Argosy University students. She will be involved in the university's participation in expos and fairs to enhance public awareness and interest. Lange's career includes sales and management. She is a former business-development specialist with another university. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Jim Sakellariou has joined The Summit Group Communications as controller. Sakellariou previously worked as a commercial loan officer at a credit union and also has experience with new businesses and sales. Sakellariou's education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Brian B. Carmack had joined XanGo LLC as senior vice president over international activities. Carmack has more than 15 years of experience in international business, including extensive executive leadership within the direct-sales industry. Recently, Carmack was vice president of business development and international sales and marketing for another company. Prior to entering the direct-sales industry, Carmack was an executive in the sports marketing and merchandising industry. Carmack's education includes a degree from Weber State University.

Christopher J. Bijou has been appointed executive vice president of sales for AdvancedMD Software. Bijou is responsible for inside, field-based and channel sales operations and is part of the executive management team. Bijou joins AdvancedMD following an 18-year career in the enterprise software and software-as-a-service industries. Bijou's most recent position was senior vice president of sales at another software company.

James L. Colvin III has joined Strong & Hanni as an associate in the firm's commercial litigation practice group.

Jonathan Klein has been named general manager at KPCW. Klein has been involved in radio and television station management. He was president of a network television station group, overseeing 14 stations from New York to Los Angeles. He has held various sales and management positions in television and radio, including the role of general manager of a radio station in Pittsburgh. Klein joined the all-volunteer KPCW board earlier this year and has been assisting as the volunteer interim general manager for the past month.
