HUNTSVILLE — The Weber County Sheriff's Office has identified a woman who was found dead Friday at Cemetery Point in Huntsville.

Noemi Rodriguez, 26, of Layton, was likely killed at the cemetery late Christmas night and was discovered about 1:30 p.m. Friday by a snowplow driver who was plowing the road that runs through the cemetery.

When the plow's blade hit something unusual, the driver investigated and uncovered Rodriguez's body.

Investigators aren't sure if Rodriguez was buried intentionally or if her body was covered by heavy snow that fell that night, but an eyewitness told investigators he saw a large, dark vehicle with its lights on in that same spot just before midnight, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Investigators are looking for a person of interest who is an acquaintance of Rodriguez. They are also looking for two vehicles: Rodriguez's Jeep Cherokee with license number 911NRS and a burgundy Ford F-150 with license number A969MZ.

Anyone with information about Rodriguez or either of the vehicles may contact the Weber County Sheriff's Office at 801-395-8221.
