A Community Supported Agriculture presentation takes place Feb. 27, 6 p.m., at the Salt Lake City Main Library's lower urban level, 210 E. 400 South. Community Supported Agriculture is a partnership with local farmers. Members pay a fee up front to help with the farm's operating expenses. In return, they get a portion of the farm's produce throughout the growing season. Johnniebeefs, 7194 S. Union Park Blvd., Midvale, is celebrating its one-year anniversary. Through March 1, the fast-food restaurant will offer its Chicago Dog with fries for $1.99.

Baxter's American Restaurant has opened in the Union Pacific building at 400 W. South Temple at The Gateway.
The restaurant replaces Butterfly and is no longer a private club. Lunch and dinner menus offer familiar favorites with a flavorful twist, such as Pesto-Pistachio Salmon, Halibut Has a Bad Hair Day (halibut crusted with shredded filo dough), and Not Your Mother's Meat Loaf. Baxter's Sunday brunch includes seven eggs Benedict choices, creme br$lee French toast and vegetable frittata.
Baxter's is open Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; nightly, 5-10:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (456-8999).
The Naborhood Bakery at Gardner Village, 1100 W. 7800 South, offers a Cookie College for Kids on Friday, 3:30 p.m. The class includes a tour of the bakery, cookie dough to shape and decorate, and a kid's meal. Marguerite Marceau Henderson, author of "Small Parties" (Gibbs Smith, $19.95), will be interviewed Friday at 9:15 a.m. on the nationally syndicated satellite radio program "Everyday Food." The show airs on the Martha Stewart Living Radio Channel 112 with Sirius Satellite Radio. Henderson will be interviewed for about 25-30 minute about her book, which features more than 100 recipes for intimate gatherings.
