COTTONWOOD, Minn. (AP) — A school bus and several other vehicles crashed in southwestern Minnesota on Tuesday, leaving at least four people dead, including a child, and more than a dozen injured, authorities said.

Forty students at Lakeview School were on the bus when it crashed in Cottonwood, about 2 hours southwest of Minneapolis, said Deann Holland, a spokeswoman at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.

More than a dozen people were hospitalized, authorities said.

Minnesota State Patrol Lt. Brian West told the Marshall Independent that at least three people have died.
