ST. GEORGE — Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant that left an employee beaten.
Police said a tip led them to search a car owned by a 22-year-old man. Inside, officers said they found a backpack, gun, ballcap and cash believed to have been used in the robbery. The man was booked into jail on investigation of aggravated robbery, theft, and aggravated assault.
On Feb. 9, police said a man ran into a Fazoli's restaurant and beat an employee with a pistol, robbing him. Another employee had the gun held to him while the restaurant was robbed.
