Valaine Anna Herzog Jessop

CLEARFIELD-Valaine Anna Herzog Jessop, 86, passed away Feb. 18, 2008 peacefully, surrounded by family and holding hands with her sweetheart.
She was born in Geneva, Idaho, April 13, 1921 to Henry Charles and Olga Yost Herzog. She was the oldest of seven children. She graduated from Logan High School, 1939.
She married Dowayne Delmont Jessop December 8, 1939 in the Logan Temple. They moved to Clearfield in 1942. She was active in the LDS Church, Daughter's of Utah Pioneers, Clearfield Sr. Citizen Club, Civic and Political Activities.
They served four missions, traveled to all fifty states, and extensively throughout the world.
She is survived by her husband Dowayne Delmont Jessop; children: Dellane (Diane) Jessop of West Jordan, UT, Terry W. Jessop S.L.C. UT., DeeAnn (Steven) Fisher Clearfield, UT, sister, Beverly (Arvel) Israelsen, Apopka, Florida, brother, Kay (Ellen) Herzog, Roy, UT. She had ten grandchildren, and 13 Great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Saturday 11a.m., Feb. 23, 2008 at 935 South State Clearfield, Utah at the Clearfield Stake Center. Viewings will be held Friday Evening 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Clearfield Stake Center. Interment will be at Millville Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT.
