Stephen Samuel Brosnahan

Our beloved son and brother, Stephen Samuel Brosnahan, age 30 passed away peacefully in his sleep Feb 18, 2008 in Salt Lake City.Born Dec. 9, 1977 to Timothy Thomas Brosnahan, Jr. and Gayle Ann Barley Brosnahan in Los Angeles, CA.
Stephen was a junior at the University of Utah and played trumpet in its Jazz Ensemble. A 1996 graduate of Highland High School in Salt Lake City, he played varsity soccer and in the jazz band. Stephen served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle. He was Amateur Radio Operators KB7BXR and Department of Defense, United States Air Force MARS AFA5KK.
Survived by his parents, brothers Timothy III (Dana) Heber, UT; Michael, Salt Lake City and David (Ruth) Evans, GA and sisters Patricia Blotter (Scott) Centerville, UT; Rebecca Montgomery (Michael) Centerville, UT; Kathryn and Mary of Salt Lake City; grandmothers Norma Barley of Pocatello, ID and Mildred Brosnahan of Rowland Heights, CA.
Preceded in death by sister Karen, grandfathers Ted Richard Barley and Timothy Thomas Brosnahan, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 at noon at the Monument Park 12th Ward, 2795 Crestview Dr., Salt Lake City. Friends may call Thurs. 7-9 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E. 1300 S. and one hour before funeral services at the ward. Interment at Wasatch Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
