Shirley Walton Cook Lloyd

1921 ~ 2008

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Shirley Walton Cook Lloyd, set aside her ailing mortal body to soar with the Angels on Sunday morning February 17, 2008. She was born September 30, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Eunice Walton. She married Wade Cook December 9, 1945. They had 4 children and made their home in Murray, Utah. After Dad's death in 1974, Mom married Glenn Lloyd on December 12, 1981. They enjoyed many happy years and trips throughout the West. Mom had a pioneer's spirit and zest for life. She could create a masterpiece with any type of fabric, and was a very accomplished seamstress. She spent her entire life serving her family and a care giver for anyone in need. She always placed the needs of others before herself.

Mom always had time for trips to Wendover and the minute she left her favorite machine, she was planning her next trip back.

Mom, we will miss your generous spirit and kind loving words. May the love you gave continue to grow in us all forever.

With love we say "Good Bye" from your son Lance Cook, daughters Cher Bailey, Susan Stauffer (Steve) and your grandchildren Justin Holder (Kim), Amber Sweat, Jaren Holder (Hope), Aimee Gallegos (Phil), Dee Heath (Bryan), Jace Cook (Jolene), Jacob Cook (Ashley); Emilee Bailey.

Hugs and Kisses from your great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Masen, Kelsee, Garret, Talia, Andrew, Constance, Helaina and Aubrey. May you find happiness with family and friends who have gone before you, as they greet you with open arms and eternal love.
