Olive Edna Atwood Poor

"Ollie"

Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma left this world on Feb. 19, 2008 of natural causes surrounded by her family.Olive was born in Cedarview, Utah on a cold winter day on December 6, 1928. She was the middle of seven children.

While attending Jordan High School she met her true love Golden Earl Poor. They were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 22, l949. Together they raised six children. They loved to travel together. In the 60 years they were together, there seldom was a time you saw one without the other. Their love story is one that will last throughout the eternities. Golden and Ollie's theme song was "I'll be loving you Always."

Olive had many hobbies among them was her love for gardening. She had created her own secret garden in their backyard where neighbors and family shared many BBQs and fabulous homemade meals. Perhaps one of her favorite things to share with the neighbors and friends were her breadsticks - so sad if you never tasted one.

For many years she was a homecare facilitator for many prominent men and women in the Salt Lake area, among them General

Authorities.

Olive is survived by her husband Golden Earl Poor of 60 years, Terrie Kay Moss (David L. Moss), Jacqueline Lynne Weyland (Jack Weyland), Lorie Lou Halvorsen (Mark Halvorsen), Kimberly Wiscomb (Jerry Wiscomb), 14 grandchildren, 17 great grand-children, and five sisters.
