Priscilla Ann Martin Rubalcava

1929 ~ 2008

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister returned to her loving Heavenly Father on February 17, 2008 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 14, 1929 to Manuel T Martin and Ramona Monchego in Saguache, Colorado. She married Chano Rubalcava, the love of her life, on October 14, 1950. Chano and Priscilla were married for 57 years. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Priscilla was an excellent cook and homemaker, and passed those traits on to her daughters and granddaughters. She spent many years volunteering her time at the University of Utah Hospital, Pioneer Valley Hospital, Kearns Food Bank, Midvale Food Bank, and was a chaplain for the American Legion.

Survived by her husband, Chano; children, Don and Deborah Rubalcava, Ramona Lobato, Lola and Don Wiles; grandchildren, Kimberly, Gino, Jessica, Devon, Lee, Kate, Lizabeth, Sarah, James, Billy, Josh, and their children and spouses; brother, Marcy and Marta Martin; sister-in-law, Pat Trujillo; and a large extended family. Preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Alfred, Toby, and Benny.

The family would like to thank Care Source Hospice for the special care they gave Priscilla. Yolanda and the aides: "We will always be grateful for the care you gave her".

Services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 W. 5215 S., Kearns, on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Viewing and Rosary will be held at 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the church.
