Our father and grandfather passed away quietly at his home in Bountiful on Feb 18, 2008.He was born April 22, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and cherished by his parents Edgar Ronald Boswell and Laura Leila Bean.

Ron graduated from South High School in 1960 and received a Brownie Automatic camera as a graduation gift, which spawned a lifetime love of photography. He has written several books on photography, taught in the community education program for many years, was instrumental in starting and supporting several camera clubs, won numerous awards for his photos, served as chairman for the photography division of the Davis County fair, and loved to discuss cameras and photos with everyone he met. He had a special love for outdoor and wildlife photography. Southern Utah and Yellowstone National Park were favorite destinations.

He fulfilled an LDS mission to the Eastern States and often spoke of the beauty of the New England area. On May 1, 1964 he married Mary Eileen Greco and had five children together. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Survived by his children: Dave and Tonya Boswell of West Bountiful; Larry and Kim Boswell of Sandy; Mike and Kristin Boswell of Woods Cross; Matt and Sheri Urry of West Bountiful; Brian and Sara Boswell of Bountiful and grandchildren: Dylyn, Ben, Charlie, Brandon, Nathan, Rebekah, Marissa, Spencer, Samuel, Zachary, Megan, Sadie, Blythe and baby. Preceded in death by his

parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at the LDS 2nd, 3rd and 5th Ward Chapel at 840 N. 800 W., West Bountiful, Utah. The viewing will be Friday evening Feb. 22, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful, and again from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Saturday morning at the church.
