Americans have an overwhelmingly negative view of Fidel Castro, who resigned as president of Cuba this week, with two-thirds (66%) saying he has been bad for Cuba and just 15% saying he has been good; but opinions in some of the other nine countries surveyed in the hemisphere are more mixed with pluralities in Canada, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil and Peru saying Castro had a positive effect on Cuba.
