TOP PRIORITY: Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said there's not a glaring deficiency at any one position so the emphasis this year is on getting the "best raw material." The Utes, however, are expected to add some depth to the skill positions by signing at least four wide receivers, a pair of running backs and a quarterback.

BIGGEST SCORE: Timpanogos lineman David Kruger and quarterback DeVonte Christopher from Canyon Springs High School in Nevada are both ranked No. 2 in their respective states by rivals.com. Other projected signings of note include former Boise State receiver Aiona Key and David Reed of Pasadena City College, who caught 111 passes for 1,661 yards last season.

CROSSING THEIR FINGERS: Highly touted recruit Benji Kemoeatu and teammate Anthony Si'ilata out of Kahuku High School in Hawaii would be sizable additions to Utah's offensive line. Both players have waffled on oral commitments to sign with the Utes in the past few weeks.
