Mary C. Robertson

1940 ~ 2008

Our beloved Mary Carolyn Blosser Robertson, born Nov. 04, 1940, age 67, passed peacefully away March 12th of Parkinson's disease with Lewy bodies.

Mary was a dedicated wife, mother and registered nurse. She met Gene Robertson while she was attending St. Luke's Hospital Nursing School in Kansas City, Mo. and he was stationed in the Air force at St. Lawrence, Kansas. They married June 24, 1960. She earned her associates of nursing degree from BYU in 1968. Mary worked for LDS Hospital, St. Mark's Hospital, Hill Haven Nursing Home, Memorial Medical Center and retired as an industrial nurse for Alliant in 2003. Mary loved reading, as a child she said she was going to read every book in her small town library. She was also an accomplished seamstress, fruit canner, gardener and cook. She enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with her family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sherrie Brunker and the LDS Senior Clinic, Barbara from Home Instead and the people from Lifepath for their help in caring for Mary.

She is survived by; her husband Gene Robertson, daughters Melissa Wilensky (Peter) and Susan Felix, son Tom Robertson (Rosie), grand-daughters Sierra Wilensky and McKensie Felix, sisters Dorothy Eisen (Eldor) and Elinor Johnson (Mike), and brother Richard Blosser. Preceded in death by her parents Dorothy Blosser and William Blosser and her sister JoAnne Blosser.

Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences to www.larkincares.com
