UTAH STATE PRISON — A woman who stabbed her boyfriend to death in front of her three children will have her first parole hearing in nine years.
The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole announced Monday it had scheduled an original hearing for Monika Ann Dilmaghanian in April 2017. It does not mean she will be released then.
Dilmaghanian was convicted in Ogden's 2nd District Court of murder and sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. She stabbed Nathan Harris, 24, at Causey Reservoir during an argument. Her three children, ages 10, 9 and 8 at the time, witnessed the slaying.
