Was: 3. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: Darts remain an unknown, but we'll find out much more after they face No. 13 Weber and No. 8 Layton this week. Next up: vs. Weber, Tuesday.

Was: 4. Last week: 1-0-1. Outlook: Props to Bountiful for getting past huge preseason games with rival Viewmont and 5A power Brighton with a 1-0-1 record. Next up: vs. Jordan, Tuesday.

Was: 5. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: Hawks have looked awesome so far and will look to cruise past another pair of Region 3 opponents this week. Next up: vs. Riverton, Tuesday.

6. Mtn. View (2-0-2)

Was: 9. Last week: 1-0-1. Outlook: Brutal opening week of Region 7 schedule impressively yielded a win and draw. Next up: at Copper Hills, Tuesday.

Was: 6. Last week: 0-1. Outlook: No dice for the second year in a row against crosstown rival Bountiful. Next up: at Northridge, Tuesday.

Was: 14. Last week: 0-1. Outlook: Wraps up tough preseason against Class 3A's Wasatch before getting into Region 5 play next week. Next up: vs. Wasatch, today.

18. Bingham (2-2)

Was: 18. Last week: 1-1. Outlook: Bingham coach Scott Maxfield has enlisted outstanding coach John Carper to be one of his assistants. Next up: at Pleasant Grove, Wednesday.
