Raser Technologies Inc. said Wednesday that Anaheim, Calif., has approved a power purchase agreement for two of the Provo-based company's planned geothermal plants.

Each agreement calls for Raser to deliver up to 11 megawatts — enough to power about 9,000 homes — for 20 years. Raser will try to begin delivering the power by Dec. 15.

Financial details were not disclosed, although the selling price features annual increases, and Anaheim will pay the transmission costs.
