Mark Christensen has been named vice president of sales and marketing at Corda Technologies. He will lead Corda's global sales, marketing and product management departments. Christensen joined Corda in 2005 and has held senior-level positions in engineering, marketing, product management and sales at Corda and a pair of other companies. He most recently was vice president of marketing at Corda. Christensen's education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Matthew Bain, Paul Pugmire and Jason Hanson have been appointed to positions at SKRM Interactive Inc./Sector 10. Bain is the general manager, responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the business. He has a background in sales, operations, manufacturing automation and communications technology. His education includes degrees from Brigham Young University. Pugmire, the vice president of communications and public affairs, is responsible for the corporate message and brand, external and internal communications and relationships with government, media and corporate stakeholders. His experience includes serving as press secretary, legislative assistant and district representative to U.S. Rep. Richard Stallings and as assistant to Minority Leader Art Hamilton in the Arizona House of Representatives. Hansen, the vice president of sales, is responsible for sales strategy and implementation nationwide. He was national vice president of sales for a medical device company and vice president of sales with another company. He has a degree from Weber State University. Sector 10 also has hired Steve DeBirk as office manager and James Kunz as a sales representative.

Janet Lopez, Cherie Westover, Ryan Jones and Mark Holley recently were promoted at the Bank of American Fork. Lopez is assistant vice president and central operations manager in American Fork. Lopez began working at the bank six years ago and has 25 years of prior banking experience. Westover is assistant vice president and SBA assistant manager for the Murray branch. She started at the bank 3 1/2 years ago and has more than 14 years of banking experience and 12 years of management consulting experience. Jones is assistant vice president and loan officer at the Riverton branch. Jones has three years' experience at the bank and has five years of prior banking experience. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Holley, assistant vice president and systems manager at the central operations center, began working at the bank eight years ago.

Gil Bertelsen has been appointed president of the BYU Management Society for 2009, and Keith A. Call has been appointed president-elect. Call is a partner at Snow, Christensen & Martineau. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Doug K. Christensen and Mark H. Willes have joined the board of directors of AxisPointe Inc. Christensen founded Asset Evolution Inc., which AxisPointe acquired. He also serves as the advocate for the Office of Administrative Solutions for Physical Facilities at Brigham Young University. He has more than 35 years of experience in facilities management. Willes was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Times Mirror, parent company of the Los Angeles Times, from 1995 to 2000. He also served for a period as publisher of the Los Angeles Times. Prior to joining Times Mirror, Mr. Willes spent 15 years with General Mills Inc. in several executive roles and was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and first vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Brad Wilson, chief executive officer of Destination Homes, recently was named chairman of the Davis Economic Advisory Council. He was appointed by the Davis County Council of Governments Inc. to lead and direct a council of 35 public and private business leaders.

Cari Burningham has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing and Neal Baker has been appointed information technology manager at Advanced Brain Technologies. Burningham previously was executive vice president and vice president of marketing and business development of a pair of other companies. Baker previously was migration systems analyst at another firm.

Al Youngdahl and Lorna Donald have joined the sales team of Revinetix. Youngdahl, based in Denver, will handle sales in the Mountain West. Donald, based in Dallas, will oversee the Southwestern region.

Mark Alexander has joined the Salt Lake City office of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT as the managing director of asset and brokerage services. Alexander has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and previously was principal broker and president of asset services for another firm in Salt Lake City.
