LAS VEGAS — Curtis Terry had game-highs of 22 points and 10 assists to lead UNLV over Utah 70-63 Saturday afternoon in the Mountain West Conference regular-season finale for both teams.

Terry, a senior playing in his final regular-season home game, had a crucial 3-pointer from the right corner with 52 seconds left to put the game away. He also had five rebounds.

Wink Adams scored 14 points for UNLV (23-7, 12-4), including 9-of-11 from the free-throw line.

Senior Corey Bailey also had 14 points, including a put back dunk with 1:23 left that gave the Rebels the lead for good, 63-61.

UNLV will play next in the first round of the Mountain West Conference Tournament on Thursday. The Rebels will be the No. 2 seed and host the tournament on their home court, the Thomas & Mack Arena, against a team to be determined.

Luke Nevill led the Utes (16-13, 7-9) with 22 points and six rebounds. John Bryant had 12 points and Carlon Brown added 10 for Utah, which will now play No. 3 New Mexico in the first round of the conference tournament on Thursday. The Utes are seeded sixth.

Utah took a 30-29 halftime lead in Saturday's game, after which there were six lead changes and two ties before Bailey's put back.

UNLV had jumped to an 18-9 advantage to start the game before the Utes went on a 21-11 run to end the half.
