Lorraine Marie Engh
'My Friend, My Friend'
Lorraine Marie Engh peacefully passed away on March 31, 2008 in Provo, Utah.Lorraine was born to Howard and Anna Fern Bush Engh on November 29, 1948 in San Pedro, California. Her family then moved to Lindon, Utah, where she spent a happy childhood. Later she lived at the State Training School and then in various Group Homes in the Orem/Provo area.
Lorraine had a special role in her family in bringing everyone together. It was a privilege to love her and take care of her. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind her family:
Colleen (Owen) Stout, Marlene (Wesley) Carter, Norma (Andrew) Shelline, and Brian (Paula Lemmon) Engh, and a large family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her sister, Nola (Rawlan) Nelson and her parents.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the many people over the years who have loved and cared for Lorraine in the different group homes where she lived. She was blessed with many friends who loved her and added joy and happiness to her life.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Lindon 14th Ward Chapel, 25 North Main Street, Lindon. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 500 N. 100 W. Condolences may be sent to info@bergmortuary.com
