We're changing.

Beginning today, the daily Feature sections have been revamped — all in an effort to better serve you, the reader.

FamilyLife (Monday) — From parenting to family relationships to caring for elderly family members, we're renewing our emphasis on issues affecting families in Utah.

Life (Tuesday) — Moving from Fridays, Life offers general features as well as the weekly serial book for children and Newspaper in Education stories. Our education features will be available in the FamilyLife, Life and general news coverage.

Food (Wednesday) — Our popular section continues to bring you time-saving and dollar-stretching recipes as well as commentary by food writer Valerie Phillips and other food columnists.

Outdoors (Thursday) — Hiking, skiing, fishing, boating, camping. Utahns love outdoor activities, and the Deseret News highlights them every Thursday.

Weekend (Friday) — You've come to expect the best in entertainment coverage from the Deseret News. Find in-depth coverage on Fridays.

HomeLife (Friday) — Debuting this week, HomeLife will give great tips to help you with your weekend gardening chores plus do-it-yourself home decor and remodeling. Got some spare time? HomeLife will tell you about crafts and hobbies. Garden columnist Larry Sagers, Renovation Design and Martha Stewart will be regular features.

Religion & Ethics (Saturday) — The section covers Utah's diverse religious communities as well as provides commentary on religious and ethical thought.

Arts (Sunday) — This weekly section spotlights classical music, dance, Broadway touring shows, community theater, author interviews and book reviews and more.

Travel (Sunday) — Whether it's at home or on the other side of the world, glimpses of great getaways can be found in Travel.
