"Woody"
Woody passed away April 22, 2008 in Murray, UT.Born October 6, 1925 in Carbon County to Tom and Beatrice Jaramillo. Four children from a previous marriage. He married his sweetheart, Joyce Butcher, in March of 1969.
He was in the Marines during World War II in the South Pacific. When he returned, he graduated from the University of Utah. Woody was an avid golfer, gardener and fisherman-- and loved his Jazz.
Survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Bob Butcher, Debra (Shirl) Lloyd, Paul (Diana) Butcher and Scott (Diane) Miller; grandchildren,
Christy Hales, Josh and TJ Butcher; and many loving friends. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hewey and Lloyd; sister, Betty.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 East Creek Rd. (8065 South) on Sat., April 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday evening at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
