Parents’ calls disrupt class

SHARE Parents’ calls disrupt class

Having been a teacher for 16 years and a school administrator for 17, I am amused by the parent who feels it is important to contact a child at school. There are far too many interruptions in the classroom without having a parent call a child during class. Each time the class is interrupted the students lose concentration. If it is critical to contact the child the school office can do that very quickly in an emergency.
