More than 1 million new cases of skin cancer will be diagnosed in the United States this year.

Fair-skinned men over 50 and people who work or play outdoors are at an increased risk. Skin cancer is highly curable if detected early and regular screenings are recommended.

Huntsman Cancer Institute will hold a free Skin Cancer Screening Clinic on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Experts from HCI will provide information, a full-body screening and answer questions. To pre-register for the screening clinic, call 1-888-424-2100 after April 14. Pre-registration is required and slots fill up quickly.
