OGDEN — Nominations are being accepted through May 15 for grand marshal of the 2008 Ogden Pioneer Days Celebration.
The honor of grand marshal is bestowed on a member of the community who has made significant contributions in sustaining or promoting Ogden's pioneer and Western heritage or has made "extra effort contributing both their time and talent to their community." The nominee should be available to participate in various Ogden Pioneer Days events and activities scheduled for July 1-24.
Submit nominations in the form of a one-page letter explaining the nominee's specific contributions. Be sure to include the nominee's address and phone number.
