Kudos to all involved in the restoration and illumination of the Walker Center tower sign. In this day and age of homogenized cities, it's refreshing to have a few differentiating aspects in our city. This sign is a landmark that, for locals, brings back fond memories of the four weather predicting modes. And for those new or visiting Salt Lake City, it will pique their interest and give them something unique to remember.
Moving forward and anticipating the growth that City Creek Center will provide is exciting, but so is the preservation of this lighted landmark.
